Church is not an organisation you join, it's a family where you belong and a home where you are loved.

We believe that the church is a living, dynamic family of diverse people with Jesus at the centre holding us all together.
Here is a little about us as the church... But please do come along and meet us in person!

WHO WE ARE

CHURCH & COMMUNITY Deacon
St Michael's is an Anglican (Church of England) church that has at its heart the belief that God has revealed his love for the world uniquely through his Son, Jesus Christ - his life, death and resurrection.
Our prayer and aim is to grow in our relationship with God and to be a community that demonstrates his love to those around us. We long for every heart and every home to be filled with the presence and love of God.
We are a developing church with a big heart for God, looking at the way we connect with Him and how we can help others connect to Him also. Our current worship is a blend of the contemporary and traditional, in a friendly and informal setting.
We desire to see the whole of Loughton impacted by God's Kingdom breaking through here on earth. We know that no one church can do this alone, and so we are proud to be a part of "Churches Together in Loughton" - an ecumenical partnership where leaders and staff from churches in Loughton meet regularly to pray, plan and organise joint events.
We are always delighted to welcome visitors to our gatherings and hope we may meet you one day.
